A review of JW Dundee's IPA (in the category of Booze)
by: tim

This beer was purchased as a part of a JW Dundee variety pack and was poured into a glass from a bottle.

I didn't expect much out of JW Dundee, knowing that I can find cheap-ish 6-packs of another beer they make, Honey Brown. Upon pouring a glass of JW Dundee's IPA, a fresh, hoppy scent hits my nose, but gently. Perhaps you could say it was more of a tap because the sensation that I experienced was not pain. In fact, I would go as far to say that it was a pleasure. The IPA's light-colored head disappears after the glass sits for a few moments, waiting for a taste. A clear amber color, this beer is suprisingly good.

As a fan of IPAs, I find this beer to be rather tasty. However, if you are not into IPAs and their bitter flavor, this may not be the best choice for you. If you're not sure, perhaps you should give it a shot because it takes your dollar very far, but not in a thief sense - rather, a value sense. While I got this in a mix pack, I believe its price is consistent with the going rate of other JW Dundee beers. Much like a few choice others of JW Dundee, this beer is seasonal so get it while it's hot!
